Assignment 1.1 - City Windows *First Assignment*

Welcome to the first assignment in Self-Assignments 101! This one will be pretty easy just to give you a feel for what this will be like, and how it’ll work.
Remember, when you are shooting for one of these assignments, make sure that every picture says a thousand words. Make sure you make every picture meaningful. You may need them later. *Hint**Hint*

So, let’s get started.

By the title, I’m sure you’ve figured out what you’re going to be shooting for this assignment. Yep. It’s City Windows.

Every city in the world has a slightly different style of windows and buildings. Thing about it. There are major differences between the windows in New York City and Tokyo, right? You will be documenting your city’s windows.
What will this assignment do to help you thing creatively when you shoot? Well, you will take at least 50 photos for this one. More is fine, but less isn’t. You simply have to show us your city’s windows through 50 pictures. Now, depending on your city, there are hundreds of thousands of windows, and for some cities, millions. How do you show all of them in 50 pictures? That’s your job. Show the styles of windows in your city. That’s all.
I mentioned this before, but make sure you really make each picture meaningful. You may need them for another assignment. Just sayin’.

So, the assignment summary?
Simply go take 50+ pictures of windows in your city. Make them meaningful. Make them interesting. After you have your pictures, upload your favorite ten to our Flickr group. Make sure you tag each of the photos you upload and submit with “SA101.1.1citywindows”. That’s all you have to do.
